He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Caldwell and Opal Caldwell; and his brother Frank Caldwell. He is survived by: his spouse Jimmie Irish Caldwell; his sons, James Caldwell (Ashley) of Plain Dealing, LA and David Caldwell (Amelia) of Slidell, LA; and his grandchildren, Caroline, Joe and Jay.
