He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Walters and Hazel Walters; his son John Walters; and his siblings, Norman Walters, Peggy Wisdom and Sybil Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Walters of Vivian, LA; his son Gene Walters (Donna) of Conroe, TX.; and his grandchildren, Brian Walters, Tami Bishop (Scott, Daniel Walters) and Kane Walters (Brittany). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
