With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garland Rushing (Vivian, Louisiana), born in Fouke, Arkansas, who passed away on October 5, 2018 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Rushing and Martha Smith Rushing; his siblings, Dorothy Rushing Pharr and Kenneth Rushing; and his great grandchild Nathan Lindsey.
He is survived by: his wife Melba M. Bickham Rushing (Sanders) of Jefferson, TX; his children, Regina Yvenne Rushing of Oil City, LA, Chris W. Rushing of Kermit, TX and Gerald Rushing; his grandsons, Michael, Caleb and Cody Rushing; and his great grandchildren, Landon and Andrew. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
