He was predeceased by: his brothers, Terry Nesbitt and Glen Nesbitt. He is survived by: his daughters, Katharine Smith (Doug) of Atlanta, TX, Elisahah Kersh (Bradley) of Mt Enterprise, TX and Misty Tems of Vivian, LA; his sister Marie Herring of Vivian, LA.; his grandchildren, Trevor Smith (Kelley, Heather Smith), Destiny Cook (Garland, Christopher Tems), Caleb Kersh, Joshua Kersh, Dusty Kersh, Thomas Kersh and Charity Kersh; and his great grandchildren, Brent Cook and Breanna Cook. He is also survived by his aunt, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
