She was predeceased by: her son Jerry Wayne Dupree; her husbands, Buddy Dupree, Harvey Holemon and Marion "Pee Wee" Adcock; her parents, Carlos Dempsey and Velma Patterson Dempsey; and her siblings, Azelle, Bobby, Roger, Gus, Pat Dempsey, Fay McIntosh and Lucille Todd.

She is survived by: her siblings, Doyle Dempsey, Sr. (Linda), Jimmy Dempsey (Peggy), Quinnie Blizzard (Butch) and Sue Howell; her sister-in-law Carrie Dempsey; her daughter-in-law Patsy Burton; her stepdaughter-in-law Martha Holemon; her stepchildren, Cindy and Arthur Adcock; and her nephews, Robert Dempsey, Doyle Dempsey, Jr., Johnny Dempsey, Gary Howell, Chris Colbey and Steve McLaurin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbors.
