She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Earl Cornett and Louella Mae Cornett; her grandparents, Hermon Elton Meadows and Margie Marie Meadows; her brothers, Earl Don Cornett and Steven Elton Cornett; and her niece Sue Ella Cornett.
She is survived by: her daughter Christi Gillespie; her granddaughter Kamryn Paige Gillespie; and her sisters, Pamela Cornett, Jody Flagg, Nancy Turner and Karla Cornett.
