It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Henry Muirheid of Vivian, Louisiana, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin F. Murheid and Wilma Kluter Murheid. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Murheid; his children, Susan Sullivan (Andy) of Rensselaer, IN and Anthony Shute (Jeannie) of Oceanside, CA; his siblings, Carolyn M. Pribble (Walt) and Bill Muirheid (Marsha); his grandsons, Anthony Shute (Yessy) and Justin Shute (Autumn); and his great grandchildren, Ezra and Cienna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
