We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2022, at the age of 86, Barbara Rose Hurdle Laing of Vivian, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Hurdle and Rosa Mae Hurdle; her children, Barbara Denise Laing and Billy Bob Laing; her daughter-in-law Jeanne Laing; her grandson Jarod Laing; and her siblings, Loyd Hurdle and Jane Hurdle.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Laing, Tommy Laing (Fern Laing) and Tracey Laing; her sister Janice Simmons; her grandchildren, Leon Laing (Heather), Sierra Laing, Hanna Laing, Michelle Leggett (Sean), Nichole Laing, Jaleen Landman and Steven Johnson; her great grandchildren, Brody Laing, Kaydance Laing, Trace Keller, Aren Laing, Kale Laing, Grace Anne Landman, Victoria Landman, John Michael Landman, London Rose Landman, Tate Johnson and Ara Johnson; and her caregivers, Suzann Thomas, Jo Anne Brents Yeager, Tim Cowgill, Bonnie Fredericks and Barbara.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Walnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Please send donations to 10899 Walnut Hill Church Rd, Vivian, LA 71082 in the care of the church with a notation for "Cemetery fund/ In Memory of Barbara Laing.".
