With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Archie Franklin McDurmond Jr. of Vivian, Louisiana, who passed away on November 22, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Sr. McDurmond and Wylodean McDurmond; and his close friends, Jerry Houck and Ronny Brown. He is survived by: his wife Martha Cowart McDurmond of Vivian; his daughter Krissy McDurmond Melancon of Broussard, LA; his granddaughter Avery Grace Melancon of Broussard, LA; his sister Susan McDurmond Elkins of Ruston, LA; his nephews, Jay and Brian Hilton of Ruston, LA.; his daughter Martha; and his friends, Ronnie Davis and Pat Bethany.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Archie's name to North Caddo Medical Center Foundation, P.O. Box 792, Vivian, LA 71082.
