He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Dowden Arthur; his brothers, Patrick D. Arthur and Grover Michael Arthur; and his brother-in-law Earl Raines (Zollie "Doodle" Rawlins). He is survived by: his sons, Raymond Arthur (Dianne), Bradley Arthur (Melanie) and Greg Arthur (Dana); his grandchildren, Shawntel Cunningham (Cody), Ashlie Woods (Shawn), B. J. Arthur, Clinton Arthur, Katelyn Trahan (Cory), Ariel Arthur, Reed Arthur and Alexa Arthur; and his siblings, Jerry Arthur (Jerri) and Linda Rains of Many. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
