He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edwin Woodard and Ruby Lovis Woodard (Burns); his brother R. L. Woodard; and his stepson Donny Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Woodard; his daughter Kristine Benoit (Danny); his stepchildren, Dell Landry, Lee Maccabee, Scott Johnson and Morgan Johnson; and his brothers, J. E. Woodard, Roy Woodard, Herbert Woodard and Johnny Woodard. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
