He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Soileau and Eula Ardoin Soileau; his siblings, Darwin Soileau, Farrel Soileau and Connie Marie Soileau; and his son-in-law Eddie Beauregard.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Fontenot Soileau; his children, Cedric Soileau (Rouchelle) of Ville Platte, John Dexter Soileau (Rebecca) of Marksville and Jennifer "Jenny" Beauregard of Opelousas; his sister Valire Dale Soileau of Mamou; his grandchildren, Travis Soileau, Erica Soileau, Isaac Cade Soileau (Kayla), Bridget Claire Soileau, Alex Casey Mahfouz (Nick) and Edward Beauregard (Madison); and his great grandchildren, Gabriel Arreola, Camille Soileau, Graham Soileau and John David Mahfouz. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
