He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Alfred and Winnie Kingrey Jenkins; and his wife Mary Ann Jenkins. He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Mitzi) of Ville Platte and Craig Jenkins of Grand Prairie; his grandchildren, Coree Carter, Brendan Jenkins, Lindsey Ingle, Jacob LeBas and Emily Ortego; his great grandchildren, Damien, Leanna, Corbyn, Gatlin, Braylee, Wyatt, Noah, Atty Mae, Teche, Rhemy, Odette and Marie Louise; and his brother Paul Jenkins (Natalie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (709 W Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church W Dardeau. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Heaven Cemetery W Dardeau (6011 US-167, Ville Platte, LA 70586).
