He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Soileau and Olizia Soileau; his wife Micky Gotreaux Soileau; his sisters, Mary Weaver, Nita Daigle and Ruby Soileau; his son Charles Soileau; and his grandson Corey Soileau.
He is survived by: his children, Ruth Hampshire (Tony) of Grand Prairie, James Soileau of Zachary, Benny Soileau (Michelle) of Hesmer and Becky Soileau (Stephen Bordelon) of Pine Prairie; and his grandchildren, Joe Fontenot, Nicole Hampshire, Adam Hampshire, Jessica Fontenot, Ashley Clem, Charles Soileau, Jr., Chasica Basco, Levine Messer, Christina Murphy, Selena Soileau, Daryl Shaffett and Kolby Sylvester. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
