He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Enola Ardoin; his children, Veronica Edwards, Quantina Thomas, Heather Thomas, Lillian McMahon, Zelda Thomas, Robert Thomas, Jr., Keith Thomas, Sr., Craig Thomas, Dwight Griffin and Orenthal Augustine; his stepson Alphonzo Ardoin; and his sisters, Bertha Fletcher, Ruby Lee Thomas, Lola Thomas, Rita Thomas, Polly Mitchell and Founder Hutchinson. He was also cherished by 27 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
