He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Peggy West Ardoin; his sons, Chad Ardoin of Ville Platte and Rusty Ardoin (Jamie) of Grand Prairie; his grandchildren, Taylor Ardoin, Alaina Ardoin (Kade Tremie) and Clint Ardoin (Madison Macip); his great grandchildren, William, Jace Tremie, John Taylor, Vivian, Laura Kate and Ellis Ardoin; his siblings-in-law, James Gary West and Marilyn Cougevan; his niece Jennifer Cougevan; his parents, Dewey Ardoin and Amy Fruge Ardoin; his parents-in-law, Joseph "Roy" West and Lillian West; and his brother-in-law Paul "Bradley" West.
