He is survived by: his wife Barbara V. Pitre of Ville Platte; his children, Richard Pitre of Scott, Rachelle Matte of Ville Platte and Paula Gallaugher (Pat) of Lake Charles; his sister Joy Baracca of New Orleans; his grandchildren, Aiden Gallaugher, Kate Gallaugher, Ashley Wyble, Brooke Pitre and Ryan Pitre; and his great grandchild Alaina Matte.
