She is survived by: her children, Rachel and Deacon Shawn Melancon of Grand Prairie; her grandchildren, Richie, Jacques Joubert of Opelousas, Lindsay, Caitlyn Scott of New Market, Alabama, Laura, Aaron Whipp of Grand Prairie, Abby Melancon, Charles Credeur of Scott, Javier Lopez-Arias of Moral de Calatrava, Spain and Paul Sartor of Maria Enzersdorf, Austria; her great grandchildren, Emily, James, Levi and Kailen; her pet Little; her close friend Chance; her son Frosty Paws; her aunt Inez Ardoin of Grand Prairie; her in-law Melvin; and her close friends, Sharon Gautreaux of Washington, Millie Fontenot of Grand Prairie and Cindy Soileau of Grand Prairie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
