She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Sparks; and her parents, L. W. Blackledge and Edna Gilcrease Blackledge. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Fontenot (Henry) of Ville Platte, Lynn Sparks (Liz) of Anahuac, TX, Steve Sparks (Angie) of Mount Belvieu, TX and Jeff Sparks (Kellie) of Crosby, TX; and her grandchildren, Jace, Jake, Jacqueline, Wayne, Jonathon, Jordan and Jeffery. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
