With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary A. Soileau of Ville Platte, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dudley G. Fontenot and Marie Ludie Ardoin Fontenot; the father of her children Elray H. Berzas; her former husband Robert D. Soileau; and her brother J. Aaron Fontenot.
She is survived by: her husband Elray Berzas; her daughters, Becky Berzas Reed (Greg) of Fayetteville and Gwen Berzas (Pam Bruney) of Lake Charles; and her grandson Remington Reed (Chandler) of Springdale. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (709 W Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A rosary will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 6:15 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (708 E Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at the same location.
