He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Yielding, Sr. and Sally Yielding; his daughters, Sally Elizabeth Yielding and Carmen Dale Yielding; and his siblings, Kenneth Yielding and Doris Yielding.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Yielding; his children, John Yielding (Helen) of DeRidder, Keith Yielding (Pam) of Anacoco, Reba Campbell (Brent), Lisa Miller of Pine Prairie and Latisha Yielding (Tyler); and his siblings, Simon Yielding of Bayou Chicot and Mary Elizabeth Bare (Jerry) of Pine Prairie. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; fifty- four great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
