He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Higgins-Sleeth (Donald) and Lisa Frey; his grandchildren, Alexander Higgins (Melissa), Taylor Mace, Hunter Dugas, Lindsey Dugas, Cameron Leger, Alainie Leger, Brett Broussard, Jacob Broussard, Ashley Broussard, Morgan Broussard, Aaron Brousard, Ryan Broussard and Amberlyn Broussard; his great grandchildren, Harper Higgins and Rome Babineaux; his sisters, Dorothy Myers and Sylvia Frey; and his stepchildren, Bryan Brousard, Michael Broussard (Lisa), Melissa Jacobs (Jamie) and Kristie Leger (Seth).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
