He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Ardoin and Emily Reed Ardoin (Janet Chapman Ardoin); and his grandson Matthew Lemoine. He is survived by: his children, Jorita Boyne (Jim) of Ville Platte, Jackie Berthelot (Kenneth) of Carencro, Jay Ardoin (Karen) of Ville Platte and Jan Fontenot (Dennis) of Faubourg; and his grandchildren, Daniel Moore Lemoine, Michael Lemoine, Erin Bordelon, Blaire Colligan, Lanie Bordelon, Jeremy Ardoin, Jessica Champagne, Jamie Manuel, Heidi Chustz and Jake Fontenot. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
He had a very deep and strong faith, and was an adorer for perpetual adoration from the time it began until the Covid pandemic, also serving as an usher at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years, and was appointed to the Sacred Heart School Board where he served from 1997 to 1999.
