She was predeceased by: her parents, Marius Ortego and Theresa Tate Ortego; her nephew Corey Dean Israel; and her brother-in-law Dallas Wayne Vizena. She is survived by: her sisters, Linda Vizena, Suzanne Soileau (Bruce) and Kim White (Lawrence "Cat"); and her nieces and nephews, Mariecha Joubert, Shelly Vizena, Joseph Vizena, Annie-Katherine Ajlani, Beau Soileau, Kayla Israel, Christopher Israel and Kylie Israel Phillips. She is also survived by twelve great nieces and nephews and three great-great nieces and nephews.
