With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette Cary Tate of Ville Platte, Louisiana, who passed away on June 22, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Cary and Pearl Boudreaux Cary (Joseph Norman Tate); and her brothers, Ellis Cary and David Cary. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Mitchell Tate (Peggy) of Ville Platte, Timothy Norman Tate (Jolene) of Lake Charles and Christopher Tate (Renee) of Ville Platte; her siblings, Michael Cary of Luling, Tressie Veillon of Ville Platte and Debbie Barbier of Plaquemines; and her grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Dontay, Lucas Paul Tate, Ashley Lauren Tate, Tyler Matthew Tate, Christopher Keaton Tate and Angela Lindsey Tate. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
