He was predeceased by: his brother Shane Brown; and his grandparents, Arise, Tilly Brown, Tadiuse and Inez McDaniel.
He is survived by: his parents, Curtis Brown and Gene Brown; his sons, Dirk Soileau and Jordan Fontenot; his sister Tina Lanclos (David Lanclos); and his granddaughter Allie Fontenot.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (709 W Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A rosary was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (708 E Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Fontenot Cemetery.
