She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lee Jones Sr.; her parents, Eluid Johnson (Ruby Thibodeaux Johnson) and Ruby Thibodeaux Johnson; and her sister Claudia J. Downs. She is survived by: her sister Dona Sue Fontenot (Jasper). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (709 W Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A rosary will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (708 E Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
