He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brothers, Gerald "Jerry" Baquet (Susan) and Bennett Baquet (Sherry); his sister-in-law Sally Reed Baquet (Cheryl Debaillon); his parents, George Edward Baquet, Sr. and Margory Soileau Baquet; and his brothers, George Baquet, Jr. and Robert "Bill" Baquet.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (709 W Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
A respected professional, Jack spent many years working at the hospital in DeQuincy, where he made significant contributions to the health and well-being of his community.
