She was predeceased by: her husband Amos Fontenot; her parents, Orise Bellard and Mary Edward Bellard; her daughters, Rita Fontenot and Leona Fontenot; and her siblings, Hersey Bellard, Murphy Bellard, Acelain Bellard, Esther Dominick, Hazel Freeman, Mary Gallow, Mary Tezeno, Dorothy Goodley, Ethel Bellard, Gerith Goodley and Mildred Vigers.

She is survived by: her daughter Martha Fontenot of Ville Platte, LA; and her sister Ethelene Bellard of Mamou, LA.
