He is survived by: his wife Ellen Ortego; his daughters, Paula Ardoin (David Ardoin, Jr.) of Houston, TX and Shannon Doucet (Broch Doucet) of Ville Platte; his grandchildren, Angelique Fuller (Jared Fuller) of Houston, TX, Sadye Doucet of Ville Platte and Jacob Ardoin of Houston, TX; his great grandchild Amelia Fuller; and his brother John Rocklin Ortego (Crystal Bihn Ortego).
