He is survived by: his wife Christine Fontenot; his children, Jonie M. Fontenot of Ville Platte and Kyle Francis Fontenot of Opelousas; his mother Rella Fontenot of Ville Platte; his siblings, Tony "Big T" Fontenot (Pam) of Ville Platte, Ronnie Joseph Fontenot (Selina) of Prairieville and Caroline Taylor (John) of Houston; and his grandchildren, Emma Grace Baquet, Layten Fontenot and Adeline Fontenot.
