He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Soileau and Ethel Reed Soileau; his wife Grace Morein Soileau; and his brother Bobby Glyn Soileau. He is survived by: his daughter Pamela S. Fontenot (Patrick) of Ville Platte; his close friend Betty Soileau of Ville Platte; his siblings, Lester Earl Soileau, Jr. (Janella) of Ville Platte and Virginia "Ginger" Gill (Tom) of Ville Platte; his grandchildren, Penny Lane (Jeff) of Metairie, Mindy Aucoin of Ville Platte, Kayla LeBouef (Andy) of Metairie, Johnathan Des Ormeaux (Jade) of Mamou and Adam P. Fontenot (Morgan Kilgore) of Baton Rouge; and his great grandchildren, Madison Lalonde, Cydney Lalonde, Lennon Lane, Jett Lane, Harlie Des Ormeaux, River Solley, Jack Milton Des Ormeaux and Lila Fontenot.
