He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Savoy and Marie Castille Savoy; his granddaughter Meghan Briley; and his siblings, Earlie Savoy and Shirley Dupre.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Fontenot Savoy of Ville Platte; his daughters, Debbie Fontenot (Carl) and Angie Briley (David); and his grandchildren, Shantel Merritt (Brad), Cory Jones (Casie Pitre), Holly Robin (Jake), Lainey Lyons (Landon), Maci Dalfrey (Hunter) and Morgan Bergeron (Tyler). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
