He is survived by: his wife Eva Doucet of Grand Prairie; his son Stanley Doucet (Sandy) of Clinton, MS; his sisters, Jackie Doucet of Hessmer and Esther Smith (Elter) of Long Pine; his grandchildren, Ashley Sanders (Stephen), Samuel Doucet of Clinton, MS and Emma Doucet of Clinton, MS; and his great grandchildren, John Luke, Jace and Elijah Sanders.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (709 W Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (1074 HWY 748, Grand Prairie, LA 70589).
