With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Bertrand (Ville Platte, Louisiana), who passed away on July 23, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Granger and Evela Diaville Granger; her husband Albert Bertrand; her grandchildren, Lucas Messer, Michelle Bertrand, Chad LaFleur and Todd LaFleur; her great grandchild Nathaniel Messer; her brother Sherman Granger; and her son-in-law Earvin Messer.
She is survived by: her children, Jenette LaFleur (Vern) of Ville Platte, Juanita Messer of Alexandria, Earl Bertrand (Kay) of Chataignier, Ferran Bertrand (Lynda) of Pineville and Ted Bertrand (Pam) of Ville Platte; and her sisters, Emma Moreau of Eunice and Joyce Wakefield of Arizona. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; fifteen great-great grandchildren.
