With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elton Manuel (Ville Platte, Louisiana), who passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Manuel and Ada Manuel; his wife Beverly LaFleur Manuel; his brothers, Clement, Clevin and Vorise Manuel; and his grandchildren, Shaun Manuel and Brandie Soileau.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Manuel (Linda) of Bush, Michael Manuel (Carlene) of Ville Platte and Phyllis Manuel Tate (Charles) of Ville Platte; his siblings, Lelia Fontenot of Opelousas and Elta Guillory (Gloria Soileau) of Metairie; his son Stewart Manuel; and his sister Hazel Dupre. He is also survived by his children and sisters, Elton leaves behind six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.
