He was predeceased by: his parents, Derbis Daire and Omerine Ortego Daire; his wife Ethel Guillory Daire; his siblings, Pauline Daire Rape, Ethel Daire Darby, Versie Daire Lafleur, Gladys Daire Darby, Marvin Daire, John Littell Daire (Doc), John Kerron Daire and Joseph Derbis Daire (JD); and his nephew Kim Daire.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Thille (David) and Kimberly Soileau (Chad) of Ville Platte; and his grandchildren, Katelyn Bordelon (Taylor) of Longview, TX, Gaige Thille (Lafayette), Jillian Thille, Gabrielle Thille, Celeste Thille, Ty and Lane Soileau (Ville Platte). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (709 W Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A rosary was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church W Main (708 E Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery (1401 S Chataignier Rd, Ville Platte, LA 70586).
