He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Briley and Mae Dell Brignac Briley; his brother Miles Briley; and his grandson Gavin Vicknair. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Briley of Grand Prairie; and his sister Sonia Ayo (Ernest) of St Francisville.
