He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Joseph Marcantel and Anna Mae Dupre Marcantel; his stepson Paul Y. Fontenot; and his brother Glynn Marcantel. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Fontenot Marcantel of Faubourg; his children, Tory Marcantel (Rebecca) of Port Barre, Jordy Marcantel Victoria of Maurice, Renee Scallon (Jess) of Moss Bluff and Keisha Mallet of Port Barre; and his sisters, Gale Stanford of Kaplan, Barbara Lipoma of Prairieville and Lynn Steno. He is also survived by his family, including five grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
