He is survived by: his wife Maxine Fontenot Chelette of Ville Platte; his children, Christopher Chelette of Baton Rouge, Elizabeth Ledesma (Marc) of Oakland, TN, Kelly Bednar (Rob) of Oakley, CA and Scott Chelette (Deb) of Tyler, TX; his siblings, Sonny Chelette (Loretta) of Nebit, MS, Timothy Chelette (Teresa) of Murfreesboro, TN, Sharon Bersuder (Gary) of Smyrna, TN, Judy Barzare (Mike) of Pineville and Delores Jeansonne (John) of Ville Platte; his grandchildren, Joshua Chelette, Kaleb Chelette, Jacob Chelette, Tristan Chelette, Madison Bednar, Alexis Chelette and Travis Bednar; and his stepgrandchildren, Ryan and Brandon Reech. He is also survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
