Carrie Catoire left this world on January 26, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Catoire and Ozea Deshotel Catoire. She is survived by: her children, Darrell Glenn Saucier, Kerry Saucier (Faye), Pam Saucier Hall (Mark) and Rachel Chapman; her grandchildren, Payton, Shellie, Heather, Kendell, Matthew, Collins, Chance, Kayla, Hayley, Morgan and Allison; her husband Roylis Saucier; her daughter Louella Saucier; her grandson AJ Saucier; her great grandchild Eric Charles; and her children-in-law, Charles Daville and Phyllis Saucier. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (709 W Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church W Main (708 E Main St, Ville Platte, LA 70586). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Old Ville Platte Cemetery.
