She is survived by: her siblings, Fabien and Emelie Morein Fontenot; her sons, Brent Fontenot (Sandra) of Opelousas, Robert Wayne Fontenot (Jane) of Mamou and Joseph "Joe" Turling Fontenot (Phyliss) of Lafayette; and her sisters, Jane Martin of Sulpur, Jeanette Ford of Ville Platte and Barbara Ardoin of Ville Platte. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
