It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Joan Templeton Delaney of Vidalia, Louisiana, born in Bude, Mississippi, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Derwood Delaney; her parents, Thomas Benjamin Templeton and Albertine McManus Templeton; and her brothers, Ted and Jack Templeton.
She is survived by: her children, Pattye D. Wallace of Vidalia, LA, Kevin Delaney of Vidalia, LA and Karen D. Fuselier (Carl) of Little Rock, AR; her grandsons, Jeremy Wallace (Mia) of Vidalia, LA, Joshua Wallace (Lindsey) of Brookhaven, MS, Eric Fuselier (Angela) of Garfield, AR, Blake Fuselier (Jessica) of Los Angeles, CA, Adam Delaney (Brittany) of Natchez, MS and Brian Delaney of New York City, NY; her great grandchildren, Mallory, Gabe, Ella, Cole Wallace, Colt Delaney, Arrow Fuselier and Silas Hacker; her sister Sue Weeks of Clayton, LA; and her niece Susan Stafford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and family.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Mrs. Joan.
