With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Moore of Vidalia, Louisiana, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Moore and Bonnie Moore; his aunt Marguerite; and his uncle Harold Curry. He is survived by: his wife Effie Lou Moore of Vidalia, LA; his children, Bradley Dean Moore (Sondra) of Conway, AR and Misty Michelle Henson (Stacy) of Vidalia, LA; his grandchildren, Hayden Moore (Lindsey), Garrett Henson (Melanie), Korey Henson, Gavin Moore (Skylynn), Brianna Priest (Cole) and Olivia Moore; his great grandchildren, Amelia Moore, Eliza Lou Moore and Lakelynn Moore; and his siblings, Roy Moore of Haughton, LA, Ray Moore (Pat) of Vidalia, LA and Mary Mills of Vidalia, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (2001 Murray Dr, Vidalia, LA 71373). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
