He is survived by: his wife Amelia Gamberi McDonald; his children, Marlene McDonald Smith (Chris) and Roger Dale McDonald, Jr.; his grandson Roger Dale McDonald, III; and his siblings, Iris Floyd (Jeff) and Mike McDonald (Sue). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
