She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Sturdivant Cavin Thompson and Leon Claude Cavin, Jr.; her husband Rodney Madden; her stepfather Kenneth Thompson; her brother Donald L. Cavin; and her parents-in-law, Richard and Bernice Madden.
She is survived by: her children, Cain Madden of Thibodaux and Claudia Holifield (Chris) of Vidalia; her brother Kenny Cavin (Renee) of Baton Rouge; her grandchildren, Jacob Riley, Olivia Holifield and Evelyn Holifield; her siblings-in-law, Herman Madden (June) of Mission Viejo, California, Pam Mitchell of Ball and Patty Morrow (Rick) of Denham Springs, Louisiana; her close friend Everett Dier of Crosby; and also Relics. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
