She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil; her son Eldon Sayes; her parents, Abe Persinger and Carrie Field Persinger; her parents-in-law, Luther and Blythe Berlin Sayes; and her siblings, Peggy Estes (Malcolm) and David Persinger.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Ivicevich (Steve) of Effie, Jan Cormier (Austin) of Rayne, Larry Sayes (Denise) of Vick and Kevin Sayes (Robin) of Vick; her sister Dorothy Lacy (Jerry) of Troup; her daughter-in-law Lucille Sayes of Effie; her siblings-in-law, Don (Judy) of Pineville, Joyce Patrick of Effie, Linda Sparrow (John) of Houston and Bobbie Persinger of Whitehouse; and her grandchildren, Bud Sayes (Deluska), Patrick Sayes (Angela), Bradley Dupuy (Terri), Michael Ivicevich (Braelen), Arien Sayes, Luke Sayes (Kayla), Kimberly Dobbins (Steve), Coby Sayes (Lindsay) and Magan Laborde (Steven). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
