She was predeceased by: her husband Jerome Clifford Gauthier, Sr.; her children, Kenneth Earl Vanderwaters and Marie Floyd; her parents, John Daniel Vanderwaters and Audrey Mae Anders Vanderwaters; and her siblings, Johnny Clyde Vanderwaters, Imogene Vanderwaters, William Dern Vanderwaters, Max Gordan Vanderwaters, Alfred Leonard Vanderwaters, Francine Vanderwaters Walker, Larry Wayne Vanderwaters, Jerry Dole Vanderwaters and David Earl Vanderwaters.

She is survived by: her children, Jannie Laborde (Kevin), Patricia Peterson (Edward), Jerome Clifford "Honsie" Gauthier, Jr., John Gauthier and Patrick Gauthier; and her siblings, Margie Kathleen Lachney Pharis, Emmett Daniel Vanderwaters (Sandy) and Mary Alice Vanderwaters. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
