She was predeceased by: her parents, Steven Duplechain and Nita East Duplechain; and her siblings, Rosa Mae Franklin and Jessie Duplechain. She is survived by: her husband Wallace Mackensen; her siblings, Betty Jane Collett, Shirley Troy, Steve Duplechain Jr., Maxine Duplechain Duhon and Curtis Duplechain (Elwanda); and her sister-in-law Sharon Duplechain.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Broussard (210 S Morgan Ave, Broussard, LA 70518). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Patsy to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
