He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Seals; his brother William Seals; and his parents, Ernest Seals and Laura Seals (Lucille). He is survived by: his children, Stephen Seals, Romy Seals, Juli Achee, Kimberly Seals, Pamela Jeffords and Steven Jeffords; his grandchildren, Lindsay Anne Seals, Laura Achee, Kathleen Crump, Hannah Seals, Thomas Achee, Matthew Jeffords, Caroline Jeffords and Ben Jeffords; and his brother Ernest Seals.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kiwanis Organization Children's Fund or to the American Heart Association.
